Job Description

Possess extensive skill and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease process, patient evaluation and assessment skills for Diagnostic Imaging Services procedures. Perform a wide variety of procedures including Fluoroscopy, surgical, invasive procedures and portable procedures requiring analysis and judgment to perform procedures in a safe and effective manner that is consistent with hospital and Imaging Services Department policies and procedures. Able to work in all areas of the hospital as directed by the Director of Imaging Services. Work with patients of all ages. Perform other duties as requested or assigned. May be expected to work varying hours, holidays, and weekends and take call.
QUALIFICATIONS LICENSE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION
Licensed by Kansas Board of Healing Arts (LRT) Registered Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT or ability to obtain within 6 months. BLS - Obtains RQI BLS certification within appropriate quarter (approximately within 3 months of hire), maintains quarterly RQI requirements.
EXPERIENCE
Experience as Registered Radiologic Technologist is preferred, but not required.
