Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits an Imaging professional adept in CT and X-ray modalities. This role focuses on providing essential diagnostic imaging services within a supportive, well-equipped critical access hospital and adjacent clinic. Immediate interviews and offers are available due to an urgent need.
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible scheduling with guaranteed 4-day weekends Core hours: 8:00am - 6:00pm 2-4 call days per week, with 2-3 nights of call expected Responsibilities also include serving a clinic open 8:00am - 5:00pm
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
ARRT (R) certification required; those with a pending Kansas state license also welcome Proficient in CT and X-ray procedures; experience with CT (GE 660), x-ray (Carestream/portable) Familiarity with Cerner charting and PACS x-ray systems preferred Experience working in a critical access hospital or active emergency department considered an asset Able to work independently, including after-hours call responsibilities Strong patient care skills and clear communication abilities
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic CT and x-ray examinations Operate and maintain GE 660 CT and Carestream x-ray equipment Accurately document procedures using Cerner and PACS systems Provide imaging support to a busy 20-bed hospital, active ER, and clinic Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled, ensuring readiness to respond to urgent cases
