Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking an experienced imaging professional to fill a CT/X-ray technologist role at a critical access hospital with an attached clinic. This urgent backfill offers a streamlined hiring process: same-day interview and offer available. The facility provides care with advanced imaging equipment, including GE 660 for CT and Carestream for X-rays, and utilizes Cerner for charting with a PACS X-ray system.
Schedule:
8:00am to 6:00pm 2-4 days of call per week (including 2-3 nights) Clinic operates 8:00am to 5:00pm Enjoy regular 4-day weekends; manager consistently ensures this benefit
Key Qualifications:
Registered with ARRT (R); candidates with a pending Kansas state license are welcome Recent hands-on experience operating CT and X-ray platforms, specifically GE 660 and portable Carestream equipment Strong familiarity with Cerner electronic health records and a PACS environment Reliable, self-motivated, and able to adapt in a busy, critical access hospital setting with an active emergency department Must be comfortable with rotation of call duties Ideal candidates must not require pet accommodations, as housing options are limited and pet-friendly options are problematic
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging for inpatient, outpatient, ER, and clinic patients Collaborate effectively with providers and clinical teams Maintain accurate records, upload images to PACS, and effectively navigate Cerner Prioritize safety and patient care, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards Respond to call duties as scheduled, providing prompt imaging services when needed This is an excellent opportunity to support essential rural healthcare in a collaborative environment while maintaining great work-life balance.
