Responsibilities include patient preparation, proper documentation of contrast use and charges, maintaining technical competency across vascular, spinal, neurological, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and extremity imaging, and ensuring a safe, clean work environment. The role involves adhering to confidentiality, infection control, radiation safety, and safety protocols, including wearing protective gear and monitoring devices. Participation in patient safety initiatives, on-call duties, overtime, and training new staff or residents is expected. Must maintain required licensure and certifications, have a high school diploma (advanced degrees preferred), and possess relevant experience, especially in interventional radiology or related fields. Knowledge of inventory systems, language skills, and commitment to a Culture of Safety are essential.
