Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program Current ARRT (MRI) certification required At least one year of recent experience in MRI imaging Proficiency operating MRI scanners and associated imaging equipment Knowledge of proper patient positioning and MRI safety protocols Strong communication and interpersonal abilities BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality MRI examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Operate MRI equipment and monitoring systems, maintaining accurate and complete imaging records Review images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists to ensure optimal results Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to infection control guidelines Monitor equipment performance and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel Educate patients about procedures and respond to their questions or concerns
