Qualifications:

Current BLS certification ARRT(M) registration KS State Radiologic Technologist License Experience as a Mammography Technologist/Mammo Tech Proficiency operating Meditech electronic medical records preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct mammography procedures as directed by physicians Operate mammography and related radiology equipment to obtain high-quality images Perform a range of breast imaging, including spot compression and magnifications Clearly explain all procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and perform additional imaging as needed Maintain and document patient communications as required by

standards Accurately chart procedures and supplies in the billing system Perform and monitor quality control protocols for equipment and imaging processes Participate in quality assurance and data collection efforts, including maintaining records for ACR and FDA accreditation Prepare next-day mammography schedules, retrieve prior exams, organize reports, and assist radiologists with comparisons Provide support as a Radiology Technologist when not scheduled for mammography procedures Assist with the maintenance and compilation of statistical data such as biopsy and surgical reports
