Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal imaging role at a critical access hospital and clinic, providing essential CT and x-ray services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This urgent backfill opportunity offers immediate interviews and prompt offers, ensuring you can make an impact without delay. The setting features modern equipment, including Carestream x-ray and
GE 660 CT
machines, and leverages Cerner and PACS systems to streamline workflow and optimize patient care.
Schedule & Hours:
Flexible dayshift schedule: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm 2-4 days of call required weekly; 2-3 nights per week on call Clinic hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Manager ensures every tech enjoys a 4-day weekend
Qualifications & Experience:
ARRT (R) certification is required Eligible candidates may have a pending Kansas state license Competency in both CT and x-ray imaging Experience with Carestream x-ray, GE 660 CT scanners, and portable imaging equipment Familiarity with Cerner charting and PACS systems preferred Ability to thrive in a critical access hospital and busy emergency room environment Team-oriented approach and flexibility for call coverage
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and x-ray imaging for hospital, clinic, and ER patients Operate advanced imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and timely images Maintain organized and precise charting through Cerner and PACS systems Provide responsive and compassionate care during routine, urgent, and on-call hours Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient diagnosis and care This contract role is ideal for CT techs seeking autonomy, variety, and a collaborative work culture with built-in extended weekends.
