1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of recent CT experience and ARRT-R certification for a 13-week community hospital assignment. Details Community hospital setting supporting adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department patients Average daily census of 20 across 16 rooms Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Weekend rotation required every other weekend On-call required to meet department needs May float between 3 community hospital sites (Leawood, Legends, and Roeland Park) as needed Uses GE equipment and PACS system Charting completed in Epic Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience, with no employment gaps greater than 90 days in the past year BLS, ARRT-R, and LRT (State of Kansas) certification required; ARRT-CT preferred License required if applicable for both Kansas and Missouri or compact license, in hand at time of consideration Community hospital experience preferred Prior travel experience required Skilled in abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, sinus, carotid, and spine CT imaging with and without contrast Proficient in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement Experience with contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts Familiarity with isolation precautions and PPE protocols Additional Information Perform CT imaging across a variety of body systems including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine/musculoskeletal studies Support trauma and vascular imaging including pulmonary embolism, CTA, and aortic studies Royal blue scrubs required First-time travelers not accepted for this role Local candidates not accepted; must reside at least 75 miles from the facility Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted Returning staff must have an 18-month tenure with a 3-month break in service before eligibility
