Perform mobile X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment. Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically accurate X-ray images according to physician orders. Transport and set up portable X-ray equipment at nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations. Process and electronically transmit X-ray images to radiologists for interpretation. Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to cardiologists for interpretation. Complete and scan exam-related paperwork and billing documentation according to established procedures. Communicate regularly with dispatch, management, healthcare staff, and facility clients. Maintain professional and effective communication with patients, coworkers, supervisors, and clients. Maintain and safely operate the assigned vehicle and mobile imaging equipment. Follow applicable safety, quality, infection-control, and operational procedures.
Requirements:
Current ARRT certification required. Maintain all required state licenses, certifications, health requirements, and operational requirements. Valid driver's license in the applicable state and a good driving record. Previous experience performing X-ray procedures, preferably in a mobile or healthcare facility setting. Ability to work independently and travel to multiple patient care locations. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to safely transport and operate portable imaging equipment.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to push and pull portable X-ray equipment weighing approximately 50-100 lbs. Vehicle ramps and pulleys may be used to assist with equipment transport. Ability to move imaging equipment through healthcare facilities and patient care environments. Ability to perform physical tasks repeatedly throughout the workday.
