Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled Radiologic Technologist with strong X-ray and imaging abilities to support a dynamic hospital environment. This contract position is structured for day shifts, providing a balanced schedule with extended shifts and optimal time off.
Schedule/Hours:
10-hour days: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday Some flexibility with shifts required for coverage Weekend rotation with 12-hour shifts possible Occasional on-call, typically overnight weekdays and 12-hour call shifts on weekends; 1-hour response time
Key Qualifications:
At least 1 year of radiologic technologist experience Valid ARRT and state licensure required BLS certification required Open to first-time travelers eager to learn Vistelar training completion (will be provided if not already certified) Proficient with C-arm, portable X-ray, and Cerner EMR; O-arm experience preferred but not required Attention to detail and a collaborative approach vital
Core Responsibilities:
Perform X-ray exams across multiple suites and support up to 180 exams per day Work with inpatients (including transplant and cardiac units, OR, critical care) and outpatients (workups, follow-ups, trauma, athletes) Operate advanced equipment, such as Shimadzu and GE Portables, Carestream ER systems, OEC C-arms, and O-arms Float as needed to various units, including the OR Maintain accurate documentation using McKesson (Change Healthcare) PACS and Cerner EMR Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality
