13-Week Contract Schedule Information Weekend schedule 5:30 AM-5:00 PM 12-hour shifts 13-week assignment Multi-Modality Technologist Requirements Minimum of two years of recent multi-modality and CT imaging experience Applicable ARRT certification for each modality performed CT credentials as required by the facility Current BLS certification Applicable Kentucky radiology license Knowledge of diagnostic-imaging and CT procedures Strong understanding of radiation-safety and infection-control practices Ability to position and educate patients appropriately Strong attention to patient safety and diagnostic image quality Accurate clinical documentation and recordkeeping skills Effective communication with patients, radiologists, and clinical staff Key Responsibilities Perform multi-modality diagnostic-imaging examinations according to physician orders and facility procedures. Prepare, identify, position, and educate patients before examinations. Operate CT and other diagnostic-imaging equipment within credentialed modalities. Obtain diagnostic-quality images that meet facility standards. Operate portable imaging equipment when required. Assist with contrast administration when permitted and required. Follow all radiation-safety, infection-control, and patient-care procedures. Monitor patients and communicate significant findings or changes in condition to the appropriate clinical staff. Document examinations and maintain accurate patient and imaging records. Transfer and manage diagnostic images using PACS. Communicate effectively with radiologists and other members of the healthcare team. Perform additional imaging duties as assigned.
