Job:
Operates diagnostic radiological equipment to produce images of designated portions of the body in setting of an Physician office.Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited radiology technology program. A.R.R.T. registered in Radiology, state licensed in radiology by the LSRT. Current BLS certifications through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross. The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off. Must have previous medical terminology or may be required to attend terminology course. Must be able to maintain composure under difficult and stressful conditions. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and practice discretion. Must be able to work independently with little supervision. Displays tact and diplomacy in inter-personal skills. Maintains annual and continuing education credits; keeps license and CPR Certification current at all times.Preferred Qualifications:
Physician's office experience preferred.Physical Demands:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 50 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.Physical Effort required:
