Job Description
Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist 1-3 to join our team! We are a 24-bed acute care critical access hospital serving the Florida Parishes region of Southeast Louisiana. We offer a wide range of services including general surgery and a 24-hour emergency department. At Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center, we are able to bring you a wide range of services close to home, provided by a network of board-certified physicians. Working u nder the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Manager, the Radiologic Technologist 1, 2 or 3 position performs routine and specific imaging procedures . This positions performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative while applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Possession of a current Louisiana Radiologic Technologist license or temporary permit. The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here .
Job Duties:
Perform routine x-ray imaging services, during the shifts assigned, to include portable, C-Arm Surgery procedures and one or more specialized modalities such as CT, MRI or Mammography, as allowed through the scope of their license/credentials. Verify that digital images are properly matched to the patient and that image quality is acceptable for interpretation. Provide radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards. Select and operate equipment and accessories as appropriate for the patient and procedure ordered. Enter necessary and pertinent documentation into the RIS and org-wide electronic medical record. Maintain and update patient records, schedule appointments, arrange lab/hospital services, and assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes. Perform daily equipment checks as required, to ensure that radiographic equipment is safe and ready to use. Perform any and all other duties as assigned to include shift or on-call coverage.

Compensation:
Salary depends on qualifications. The starting salary for the Radiologic Technologist 3 position is $26.29 hourly.

Shift 2 $2/hour Shift 3 $2.50/hour Weekends $2.50/hour Holidays $2.50/hour On-call Pay $3/hour Certification pay- up to $3/hour depends on certification
