In this vital role, you will operate advanced radiologic imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images that assist in accurate patient assessment and treatment planning. Your expertise in X-ray, will be essential in delivering exceptional patient care. Duties Operate a wide range of radiologic imaging equipment including X-ray systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Assist in performing urgent care procedures and emergency room imaging to support rapid diagnosis and treatment. Follow strict radiation safety procedures and implement radiation protection protocols to safeguard patients and staff during all imaging activities. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to facilitate diagnostic evaluations by providing accurate imaging results. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment usage in compliance with healthcare regulations. Ensure the proper operation and routine maintenance of all medical imaging equipment while adhering to aseptic techniques when necessary. Requirements Proven experience operating radiologic imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, mammography units, DEXA scans, PET scans, fluoroscopy systems, and nuclear medicine devices. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles. Prior experience working in urgent care settings or Level I/II trauma centers is highly desirable. Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation protection protocols effectively. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately while maintaining high standards of patient care and comfort. Certification or licensure as an X-Ray Technologist or Radiologic Technologist according to state or national regulations. Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to patient care and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
