8:00am-4:30pm About this role 40 Hours/Week, 8:00am-4:30pm, Interventional Radiology Coordinator, Interventional Radiology, Emerson Hospital, Concord, MA Are you an organized, compassionate professional who enjoys helping patients and supporting a fast-paced healthcare team? We are seeking a Coordinator to join our Interventional Radiology (IR) department. In this vital role, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients, physicians, and clinical staff, helping ensure a seamless and positive patient experience from start to finish. Working closely with the Section Leader of Interventional Radiology, Clinical Resource Nurse, Lead IR Technologist, and Senior Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and clerical support that helps keep our department running efficiently while delivering exceptional patient-centered care. What You'll Do As a Clinical Office Coordinator, you will: Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Interventional Radiology team Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently Welcome, assist, and support patients and visitors with warmth and compassion Coordinate patient scheduling activities and appointment reminder calls Maintain accurate patient records, charts, and departmental documentation Assist with patient flow and communication between patients, physicians, and clinical staff Support daily office operations to ensure efficient department workflow Handle confidential patient information in compliance with privacy regulations and organizational policies Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to support high-quality patient care What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional who thrives in a healthcare environment. You possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to creating a positive patient experience. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Effective time management and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Moderate keyboarding and data entry skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Preferred Qualifications Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred Experience One (1) year of experience in an administrative assistant, medical office, patient services, healthcare administration, or related support role preferred, but not required Technical Knowledge Basic understanding of medical terminology, human anatomy, and physiology preferred Experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) systems preferred Why Join Us?
