Staff Accountant - The Pesce Network (Dunkin' & Jimmy John's Franchise Group) The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the financial operations of multiple Dunkin' and Jimmy John's franchise locations. This is an in-office position with both full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time (minimum of 25 hours per week) opportunities available. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts payable, including invoice entry and bill payments. Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Prepare journal entries and maintain accrual-based accounting records. Audit payroll for accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements and balance sheets. Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules. Generate financial reports for management. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance and accuracy. Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency. Handle multiple priorities while adapting quickly to changing business needs. Provide accounting support for multiple franchise locations as needed. Qualifications Experience with QuickBooks. Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting principles. Experience with accounts payable, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, journal entries, payroll auditing, and general ledger maintenance. Experience preparing financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets. Knowledge of month-end closing procedures and financial reporting. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and transition between a variety of accounting responsibilities. Self-motivated and able to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to work on-site in an office environment; this is not a remote or hybrid position.
