The ideal candidate will have strong acute-care radiology experience, excellent patient-care and communication skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Day shifts are generally assigned Monday-Friday, with second-shift coverage typically scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays. Requirements Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college or appropriate military training Minimum 2 years of acute-care experience Current R.T.(R)(ARRT) registration or registry eligibility, with ARRT registration required within 6 months of hire Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license Current BLS certification Previous travel healthcare experience required Strong computer skills, including PACS and HIS/RIS Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to established protocols and standards. Provide safe, compassionate, and professional care to patients throughout imaging procedures. Verify patient information, orders, and appropriate imaging procedures. Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records. Utilize PACS and RIS/HIS systems for image processing and documentation. Follow radiation-safety procedures and departmental policies. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members. Demonstrate flexibility with varying shifts, weekend assignments, and holiday coverage. Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism.

Pay:
