Job Description
Job Summary:
Xray Technologist position available in the healthcare facility. This role involves providing radiologic imaging services in an acute care setting, primarily working day shifts with scheduled weekends and holidays. The position requires a focus on patient care, technical proficiency, and adherence to safety standards.Job Details:
Schedule:
8-hour shifts, totaling 32 hours per week; scheduled days include Friday, Monday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Day shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday; second shifts are scheduled on Saturday and Sunday.Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) required. Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college or appropriate military training. Minimum of 2 years experience in an acute care setting required. Currently registered as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible with R.T.(R)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire required. Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required. BLS certification required. Must be computer proficient including PACS and HIS/RIS. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to maintain confidential information required.Additional Information:
Travel experience required. The position involves working various shift times, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, with the opportunity to work day or second shift depending on scheduling needs. The job includes coverage during weekends and holidays.
