Job Description

At Merrimack Health , we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range is $42.18 (Min) - $63.27 hourly (Max), excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth. As the Special Procedures Technologist, you will provide radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/ or treatment of anatomic physiologic disorders. Performs specialized techniques, including vascular and neurological radiographic procedures. Maintains a working knowledge of the use and locations of all catheters and guidewires used in special procedures. Accurately loads and programs IV contrast injector according to the radiologist's specification and assists the radiologist by accurately assisting in the exchange of guidewires and catheters. Requires an MA Radiologic Technologist license and certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with proficiency in all areas of radiography to include routine diagnostic, operating room, portable, trauma and fluoroscopic procedures. Prefer Interventional vascular certification by ARRT.
