Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our urgent care clinical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and a commitment to patient care in various settings, including urgent care and emergency medicine. Responsibilities Perform X-ray examinations on patients as per physician orders, ensuring high-quality images are obtained. Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in an urgent care setting to provide timely diagnostic evaluations. Document patient history and prepare them for imaging procedures while explaining the process to alleviate any concerns. Ensure proper maintenance of imaging equipment and report any malfunctions or issues promptly. Provide operations and clinical support where needed in the urgent care and primary care Assist in the training of new staff or interns on best practices in diagnostic radiology. Qualifications Certification as an X-ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist is required. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate patient records and imaging results.
