- 4 Mercer Road, Natick, MA Natick Urgent Care is part of a privately owned, multi-site urgent care organization serving the Greater Boston and MetroWest communities for more than 20 years.
Our Natick location is a modern, advanced outpatient facility designed to provide comprehensive urgent and acute care for patients of all ages. Our clinical team is supported by extensive on-site diagnostic capabilities, including digital X-ray, laboratory testing, EKG/cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, splinting, and other point-of-care services. We are currently seeking full-time and part-time Radiologic Technologists (X-Ray) to join our Natick team. The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for an X-ray technologist who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment and wants to be an active member of the patient-care team. Unlike positions that require travel between offices, this position is based entirely at our Natick location at 4 Mercer Road. Technologists operate our Konica digital radiography equipment and work directly with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical staff. Our X-ray technologists play an important role in keeping the urgent care operation moving efficiently and safely throughout the day. Hours & Schedule Natick Urgent Care is open:

PM Saturday-Sunday:
8:00 AM-4:00 PM Weekday shifts are generally 11 hours , while weekend shifts are 8 hours . A typical full-time rotating schedule follows a predictable two-week pattern: Week 1 Monday

- Off The schedule then repeats, providing a consistent rotation with every other weekend off and multiple weekdays off during each pay period.
Part-time schedules may also be available depending on current staffing needs.
Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include:
Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations for patients of all ages in accordance with provider orders and established radiology protocols. Operate and maintain Konica digital radiography equipment. Properly position patients and obtain high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing unnecessary radiation exposure. Confirm patient identification, examination orders, and appropriate clinical information before imaging. Follow all applicable radiation safety, infection-control, and Massachusetts regulatory requirements. Prepare and transmit imaging studies for physician and radiology review. Work closely with physicians, PAs, NPs, nurses, medical assistants, and other members of the urgent care team. Assist with patient flow and communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding imaging status and priorities. Maintain X-ray rooms, equipment, supplies, and required documentation. Assist with scheduling or coordination of advanced diagnostic imaging when ordered. Protect patient confidentiality and maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies. Participate as an active member of the urgent care team and assist with appropriate non-radiology clinical or operational functions when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and patient-ready imaging environment.
Qualifications Required:
Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license through the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Current ARRT (R) certification. Ability to safely perform diagnostic radiographic examinations independently. Strong communication and patient-care skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and other staff.
Preferred:
Previous urgent care, emergency department, orthopedic, or outpatient radiology experience. Experience performing a broad range of extremity, chest, spine, and other general diagnostic X-ray examinations. Experience with digital radiography and PACS systems. Why Natick Urgent Care?
