Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in an acute care setting. This role involves working in a fast-paced imaging department with a steady caseload and a supportive team environment. The position offers a rotating day/evening schedule and requires strong independent MRI experience. Responsibilities Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures Review and verify imaging results for quality and accuracy Maintain proper documentation and patient records Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards Handle a daily caseload of approximately 30-35 patients Work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare staff
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of independent MRI experience in an acute care setting ARRT (MR) certification required BLS certification (AHA required) Strong knowledge of MRI safety and imaging protocols Ability to work both day and evening shifts Excellent communication and patient care skills
