Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our medical team. We are an orthopedic surgery, private practice. As an X-ray Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray and other imaging equipment. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans for our patients. ###

Duties:

• Perform X-ray imaging procedures on patients as directed by physicians
• Operate X-ray and other imaging equipment to capture high-quality images
• Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort during the imaging process
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment during procedures
• Review images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide diagnostic evaluations
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in imaging technology and techniques ###

Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

• Proficiency in performing CT scans, sonography, and other diagnostic imaging procedures privy to an Orthopedic practice.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Familiarity with aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures
• Ability to accurately position patients for optimal image capture
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality images are obtained
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals
