Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Experienced MRI Technologists are sought for a contract opportunity to support imaging services within a clinical setting. This position focuses on providing high-quality MRI scans to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment, while ensuring the safety and comfort of all individuals under your care.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent) Previous experience performing MRI scans in a clinical or hospital environment Proficiency with operating MRI equipment and following proper imaging protocols Strong attention to detail, particularly in preparing and reviewing imaging results Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with patients and medical staff Ability to maintain strict safety standards regarding MRI equipment and patient care Up-to-date knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct MRI examinations according to physician orders and protocols Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain each step to ensure comfort and compliance Operate MRI scanners safely, adjusting equipment and positioning patients as needed Monitor image quality and troubleshoot minor technical issues as required Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in accordance with facility guidelines Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals on image interpretation and workflow Uphold cleanliness and infection control standards within the imaging suite This is a contract position requiring reliability and a professional approach to patient care and imaging best practices.
