Job Title:
Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:30 PM - 7:00
AM Sign-On Bonus:
Up to $15,000 (for eligible new hires) Position Summary The Radiologic Technologist performs both routine and complex diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures while prioritizing patient safety, image quality, and adherence to departmental protocols. This role also supports daily operations, mentors junior staff, and contributes to a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Active participation in professional development and hospital initiatives is expected. Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of diagnostic X-ray procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging while following radiation safety standards and ALARA principles. Provide patient-centered care by assessing patient needs, educating patients and families, and ensuring a comfortable and informed experience. Support daily department operations, including equipment checks, troubleshooting, supply management, and quality assurance activities. Mentor and train junior staff and assist in onboarding new team members to maintain consistency and quality of care. Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and hospital initiatives while maintaining compliance with current regulations and best practices.
Minimum Requirements Education:
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in
Diagnostic Radiology Licensure/Certification:
ARRT Certification required State Radiographer License required (if applicable) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
