Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care to our animal patients and supporting veterinarians in various medical procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of veterinary practices and terminology, along with a genuine passion for animal welfare. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians in all areas of patient care Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthetic monitoring, dentistry, and surgical preparation Administer medications and treatments as directed Educate clients on pet care, treatment plans, and preventive health Maintain accurate medical records and ensure clean, safe clinical areas. Skills Animal Restraint & Handling
  • Confident and compassionate handling of cats and dogs Clinical Procedures
  • Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, bandaging, and wound care Surgical Assistance
  • Pre-operative prep, anesthesia monitoring, surgical support, and post-op care Laboratory Work
  • In-house lab diagnostics Radiology
  • Positioning and taking diagnostic X-rays safely and effectively Dentistry
  • Dental scaling, polishing, and oral assessments Client Communication
  • Educating clients about preventive care, post-surgical instructions, and treatment plans Medical Documentation
  • Accurate and timely entry of medical records in practice management software Emergency Response
  • Calm, efficient response during urgent or critical patient situations Technology Proficiency
  • Comfortable with digital X-rays, lab equipment, and veterinary software, VIA Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a veterinary setting Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals and their owners by providing exceptional veterinary care.
