CT Scan Technologist Position Summary Performs CAT scan procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and students as assigned. CT Scan Technologist Position Requirements Education Completion of formal Radiologic Technology Training program approved by the JRC/ERT and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R). Must maintain Maryland State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Maryland and must follow all regulations as per those regulations. Must maintain Delaware State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Delaware and must follow all regulations as per those regulations. ARRT Certification CT Certification is required within a year of hire or transfer. Experience One year experience as a registered technologist. Prior CAT Scan experience preferred.
