Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare environment, where your expertise in CT imaging plays a crucial role in patient diagnosis and care. This contract position involves working within a Level III Trauma Center utilizing Toshiba and GE machines, providing comprehensive imaging services and supporting patient-centered procedures.
Schedule:
40 hours per week 8-hour shifts: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Every 3rd weekend rotation Contract duration: 12 weeks
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience as a CT Tech Valid ARRT (R) certification required BLS (AHA) certification required Strong background in general x-ray, c-arms, and flow exams, particularly within ER and OR settings Proficiency working with Toshiba and GE CT systems
Position Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for imaging exams, providing clear explanations and ensuring comfort Review requisitions, gather relevant clinical data, and perform appropriate scans Analyze anatomical structures, choose proper technical parameters, and complete CT scans Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor for patient reactions, providing immediate care if necessary Assist radiologists with complex procedures, including sterile setup and procedural support Maintain a well-stocked, organized work environment, and ensure readiness of procedure rooms Apply principles of radiation safety, including shielding and ALARA techniques Manage imaging and patient information accurately within
PACS/RIS
systems, ensuring proper documentation and image delivery Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, consistently demonstrating open communication, professionalism, and respect This opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented imaging professionals who thrive in fast-paced, trauma-informed hospital settings.
