Key Responsibilities:

Administer IV and oral contrast safely, following all department and institutional guidelines; monitor patients throughout procedures and document relevant data. Ensure comprehensive radiation protection for patients, staff, and yourself using shielding and optimal technique. Support radiologists during sterile procedures, practice strict sterile technique, obtain vital signs, collect clinical histories, and perform proficient venous puncture. Identify and respond to adverse reactions or urgent medical situations promptly, assisting physicians as required.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Demonstrated expertise in CT imaging, with a keen eye for distinguishing normal from abnormal anatomy. Professional experience with IV administration, contrast protocols, and patient monitoring. Strong understanding of radiation safety standards. Proficiency in basic nursing duties, including sterile technique and venous access. Ability to remain calm and react swiftly in critical or emergency patient situations. ARRT certification (CT preferred) and appropriate state licensure.
