Key Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Surgical Technologist (ORT) In-depth understanding of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and instrument handling Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team and adapt promptly Diligent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Commitment to safe patient care and accurate inventory/supply management

Primary Responsibilities:

Demonstrate procedural knowledge and problem-solve during various surgeries Verify and prepare all supplies, instruments, and equipment as per surgical team requirements Maintain and monitor the sterile field, recognizing and addressing any breaks in technique Set up sterile fields efficiently; keep a precise count of all items per policy Ensure equipment is correctly assembled, cleaned, and sterilized according to established protocols Accurately account for supplies and patient charges
