Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced Imaging Professional with expertise as a Radiology Technician or X-ray Technologist for an assignment in a Level II Trauma Center. This 13-week opportunity involves supporting diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic hospital environment that values accuracy, compassionate care, and flexibility.
Schedule:
3 shifts per week, each scheduled from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM Every other weekend required No block scheduling
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays, ensuring adherence to established protocols Accurately position patients and operate radiologic equipment for optimal imaging results Support the surgical team with intraoperative imaging procedures when needed Collaborate with physicians and nurse staff to deliver timely diagnostic information Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards at all times Document and review imaging records in accordance with healthcare regulations Provide professional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced trauma setting
Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required At least 1 year of experience as an X-ray or Radiology Technician Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center is highly desirable Operating Room (OR) procedure experience is a strong plus Detail-oriented with excellent patient communication skills Adaptable and ready to excel in both routine and urgent scenarios Contribute your skills to a respected hospital environment focused on top-tier diagnostic services and patient outcomes.
