36 Hours per Week Job Summary We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join an acute care imaging team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing high-quality MRI examinations, ensuring patient safety, and delivering compassionate care while working with advanced imaging equipment. Responsibilities Perform routine MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols. Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures while ensuring comfort and safety. Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications. Start IVs for contrast-enhanced studies as needed. Monitor image quality and ensure accurate documentation. Operate MRI equipment and maintain imaging standards. Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to provide quality patient care. Follow MRI safety guidelines and departmental policies. Requirements Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred. Active ARRT (MRI) certification. Current BLS Certification . Experience with Siemens MRI systems is preferred. Ability to start IVs for contrast procedures. Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
