Role Overview As a Radiographer, you will perform essential radiologic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your expertise ensures accurate imaging, contributing directly to patient care and outcomes. This role is vital in supporting both physicians and patients, making a significant difference in our community's health. What You Will Do Perform radiologic procedures as ordered by physicians to evaluate pathological conditions. Utilize independent judgment to determine appropriate radiographic techniques and patient positioning. Adhere to department protocols and safety practices to ensure patient and staff well-being. Maintain required continuing education hours to stay current with industry standards. Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible (must obtain within 12 months of hire). Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS). Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a healthcare or radiologic setting. Familiarity with advanced radiographic techniques and equipment.
