Job Description
Apprentice Hours
- 7:00am to 3:330pm, Monday to Friday, at Royal Oak Hospital Once Completed, this will convert to Mammography Technologist.
Hours:
7:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday and will be at site: 35046 Woodward, Birmingham, Mi About Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital opened on Jan. 24, 1955 as a 238-bed community hospital. Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital has 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows. Corewell is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, with more than 1,400 Corewell Health doctors on faculty. Scope of work Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures perform diagnostic Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation while applying ALARA principles of radiation protection. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Required Associates degree. Graduated from accredited Radiography program required. CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration- ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with ARRT Upon Hired Required. CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
