Must Haves:
License:
ARRT registered (RT) and radiography (R) and/or computed tomography (CT) certified and/or NMTCB registered (CNMT)
Certification:
BLS Experience:
New grads accepted. They use GE Revolution Imaging Machines, Merge Pacs software, and EPIC charting. Willing to train if they do not have experience with those systems.
Education:
Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related program, followed by certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT About the
Unit:
Patient Population:
Pediatric to geriatric
  • they will mainly work in the ED.
Tech to
Patient Ratio:
1:1; they will always work with another tech. During the hours of 11:30pm-6am, they will be by themselves in the department. There is only one room. # of cases per day: 20-50 patients a shift on nights; Average 150-180 in a 24 hr. period
  • VERY busy ED.
