As scheduled by the imaging department
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Current ARRT registration in Radiography; CT certification required IV certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon assignment Previous clinical experience in CT strongly preferred Strong understanding of anatomy, protocol adaptation, and patient care standards Proficiency in venipuncture and sterile technique Ability to recognize and respond promptly to medical emergencies
Key Responsibilities:
Perform computer tomography studies following strict protocols, adapting exams based on patient history and radiologist direction Administer IV and oral contrast according to protocol; monitor patient conditions throughout procedures Ensure radiation protection for patients, self, and staff using appropriate methods and documentation Assist in sterile procedures, practice sterile technique, and obtain pertinent clinical histories and vital signs Accurately record all patient data and respond to adverse reactions or urgent situations alongside the radiologist
