Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent) Professional experience operating MRI equipment and related technology Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and safety procedures Ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare team members Proven attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred Previous contract experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate MRI equipment to perform prescribed imaging studies Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and comfort Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns Monitor imaging results for clarity and precision, adjusting techniques as needed Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures as required Adhere to facility safety protocols, including infection control and MRI safety standards Assist with the care and routine maintenance of imaging equipment
