Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent) Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or MRI Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment and conducting diagnostic imaging Strong understanding of anatomic positioning and imaging protocols Ability to interpret physician instructions and adapt imaging techniques accordingly Excellent attention to patient safety and protocol compliance Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and position pediatric and adult patients for MRI procedures while ensuring comfort and addressing safety concerns Operate and maintain MRI equipment, adjusting protocols as necessary to obtain optimal images Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely reporting Document procedures, patient interactions, and imaging results in accordance with facility protocols Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging area and follow all infection control guidelines Stay updated on new imaging techniques and participate in quality improvement initiatives This position provides a professionally rewarding environment with exposure to a diverse range of imaging cases and technologies.
