Schedule:

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Every other weekend required Block scheduling available (including weekends) No on-call hours

Qualifications:

Current ARRT (CT) certification required Active BLS certification required Minimum of 1 year of CT imaging experience Experience with GE systems, OEC C-arms, and Carestream portable machines preferred Strong knowledge of patient safety and radiation protection principles Excellent communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients and explain CT procedures to ensure comfort and understanding Review clinical data and obtain necessary additional patient history Set up, operate, and control equipment for optimal image acquisition Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor patients for any reactions Prepare procedure rooms, maintain inventory of necessary supplies, and set up sterile equipment as needed Assist radiologists with complex diagnostic procedures such as biopsies Perform imaging with strict adherence to radiation safety standards (ALARA) Resolve image exceptions, deliver high-quality images into PACS, and ensure accuracy in the Radiology Information System (RIS) Accurately document procedures in both medical and radiology records Consistently demonstrate professionalism, collaborative team behavior, and respect for patient privacy and cultural diversity This is a great opportunity to further your career in medical imaging while making a difference in patient care.
