About Corewell Health Wayne Hospital Corewell Health Wayne Hospital opened its doors to western Wayne communities in 1957. This full-service hospital is the only hospital in the Wayne, Westland, Garden City, Canton, Inkster and Romulus area verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level III Trauma Center. The hospital has a longstanding partnership with Detroit Metropolitan Airport and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to handle a wide variety of health and communicable disease concerns including mass trauma and emergency patients. Scope of Work Organizes schedules for computerized tomography (CT) staff, while the manager maintains overall responsibility for the accuracy of the employee schedule. Oversees day to day floor operations within CT, monitors quality and coordinates education opportunities during these operations. Monitors customer and employee satisfaction results, looking for trends and identifying opportunities for improvement. Assists manager with payroll duties as assigned. Reviews supply and purchase of materials used in department operation and looks for cost effective changes. Contacts service personnel and notifies management of malfunctioning equipment. Monitors and tracks education requirements for employees, as assigned. Plans and organizes CT and related services on assigned shift to assure that all examinations are expeditiously processed and meet all standards of quality and safety. Schedules and assigns employees based on workload, patient schedules, experience, and availability. May lead special projects assigned by leadership. Qualifications Required Associate's Degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program. CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
- AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT)
- ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excludes team members hired prior to 2008. 1 Year required CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration
- ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required 1 year of relevant experience 1-3 years' experience beyond staff radiographer level.
