Mammographer- Up to $70/ Hour Edina, MN Interim Healthcare Staffing is currently hiring a part time Mammographer to their team ASAP! This is an exciting opportunity to work at premier healthcare facilities int eh Twin Cities metro area and to be a valuable part of the diagnostic imaging team. We are looking for a skilled and empathetic professional who can guide patients through their procedures in a caring environment. Schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 8a-4:30 or 8:30-5p Pay rate: $60-$70 per hour (DOE)

Requirements :

Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology Currently ARRT certification including Mammography. Two years of Mammography experience desired, diagnostic mammography preferred. Able to work in a fast paced environment with a huge emphasis on quality care. Detail oriented Team player

Responsibilities:

Performs mammography services. Verifies the appropriate patient for each examination. Verifies appropriate procedure to be performed by checking orders and correlating with the patient's symptoms and problems. Thoroughly explains the nature of the procedure to the patient to alleviate patient anxiety associated with the exam and /or equipment. Provides the necessary assistance to the radiologist and/or physician with procedures. Assists Radiologist and Ultrasound Technologist with invasive breast procedures. The ability to also do general radiology and dexa scan is preferable. Maintains a high level of patient confidentiality in adherence with HIPAA guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.
