25-bed Critical Access Hospital Position Overview We are seeking an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist to join the Imaging Department of a small, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in Southern Minnesota. This position offers an opportunity to work in a close-knit rural healthcare environment while providing a broad range of diagnostic imaging services. The technologist will perform CT and general X-ray procedures and provide C-Arm support in the operating room for pain injection procedures. Imaging services are centralized at the hospital, which is connected to the main clinic and emergency department. The healthcare system also supports four outreach clinics. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in a small-facility environment and providing high-quality patient care across a variety of clinical situations. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic CT and general X-ray examinations according to established protocols and physician orders. Provide C-Arm imaging support in the operating room for pain injection procedures. Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations while maintaining comfort, dignity, and safety. Operate CT and radiographic imaging equipment safely and effectively. Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while following established protocols. Review patient information and clinical history prior to examinations. Follow radiation safety procedures and applicable regulatory requirements. Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, radiologists, surgical staff, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate patient and examination documentation. Perform quality-control procedures and identify equipment or image-quality concerns. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment. Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice. Required Qualifications ARRT certification - Required. BLS certification - Required. Experience performing CT and general radiographic procedures. Ability to perform or learn C-Arm procedures in an operating-room environment. Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols. Excellent patient-care and communication skills. Ability to work independently and effectively in a Critical Access Hospital. Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic image quality. 10:00 AM-8:30 PM Rotating weekends and holidays Call requirements may apply based on departmental scheduling needs Overtime after 48 hours Schedule may vary based on operational and patient-care needs. Compensation $70,720-$105,040 per year, based on experience Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, certifications, and organizational pay practices.
