1 Description American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for an overnight solo shift role requiring 1+ years of experience and previous travel experience at an acute care hospital. Details Acute care hospital setting with Magnet, Teaching, and Level II Trauma designation 479 total staffed beds 3x12 hour night shifts from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday/Monday/Tuesday Every Sunday weekend shift required Traveler works solo overnight and must be confident and self-sufficient during night shift Uses Epic for charting Performs abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular MRI procedures Utilizes GE and Siemens equipment along with PACS system Holiday coverage required as needed by facility Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist Previous travel experience required BLS and ARRT R certifications required ARRT MR certification preferred ER/Trauma and abdomen/pelvis experience required Community hospital experience required Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Epic charting experience required Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration and starting peripheral IVs License required if applicable Additional Information Perform MRI imaging across abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular systems Special imaging procedures include CINE, diffusion imaging, MIP, MRP, perfusion, and surface coil imaging Scrub color per facility profile Free parking available in North Lot in any unrestricted space Local candidates within 25 miles of the facility are not accepted Former permanent employees must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted with none allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved at time of submission Required lab work must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing Minnesota state fingerprinting (Livescan) must be completed in person on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date, applicable to all travelers regardless of residency
