$10,000 with a 3-year commitment Position Overview We are seeking an experienced X-Ray/CT Radiologic Technologist to join the Imaging Department of a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in southern Minnesota. This position is ideal for a versatile Radiologic Technologist who is comfortable performing both X-Ray and CT procedures and enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. CT certification is not required, but candidates must have CT experience clearly listed on their work history and be comfortable independently performing CT procedures. Schedule & On-Call Requirements 36 hours per week Primarily 8-hour shifts Occasional half-day shifts On-call responsibilities include: Two weeknights per week, Monday-Thursday, approximately 5:30 PM-7:00 AM Every 3rd or 4th weekend, approximately Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM 15-minute response window when on call Rotating holiday coverage Availability for Emergency Department call coverage during nights and weekends Required Qualifications Graduate of a formal, accredited Radiologic Technology program Current ARRT certification Current BLS/CPR certification Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred CT experience required Must be comfortable performing CT procedures Must be able to operate: X-Ray equipment Portable X-Ray equipment DEXA CT Must obtain and maintain required equipment certifications Must complete and maintain 24 CEUs every 2 years Key Responsibilities The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for obtaining high-quality diagnostic images while providing safe, professional, and compassionate patient care.Responsibilities include:
Perform X-Ray, CT, DEXA, and portable imaging procedures Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, providers, nurses, radiologists, and other facilities Operate imaging equipment safely and according to established policies and procedures Maintain patient confidentiality Perform and document required QA/QC activities in accordance with Minnesota Department of Health and other governing requirements Monitor equipment performance and report equipment failures Assist with daily Imaging Department operations and patient scheduling Work independently while seeking guidance when appropriate Multitask effectively and meet departmental deadlines Respond professionally to challenging situations and patient concerns Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills Maintain professionalism, reliability, organization, and dependability Work collaboratively with coworkers and other departments Support a respectful and inclusive environment for patients and staff Department Overview 25-bed Critical Access Hospital Imaging department staffed by approximately 3-4 Radiologic Technologists Electronic medical record: Epic No specific scrub color requirement Patient-centered, community-focused healthcare environment Compensation & Incentives $29.83-$42.95/hour, based on experience $10,000 sign-on bonus with a 3-year commitment No relocation assistance currently offered Why Consider This Opportunity?
