Minimum 2 Years Required About the Role We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) for a 12-week contract position in Columbia, Missouri. The technologist will assist with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures in both routine and emergency settings while maintaining patient safety, sterile technique, radiation safety, and efficient procedural workflow. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Neuro Interventional Radiology (Neuro IR) cases and GI embolization procedures . This role includes call coverage for emergency stroke cases as well as weeknight, weekend, and holiday coverage. Responsibilities Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures using specialized imaging equipment in routine and emergency settings. Prepare and screen patients, maintain sterile technique, and support patient monitoring throughout procedures. Assist with Neuro IR, stroke intervention, GI embolization, and other image-guided procedures as assigned. Administer contrast under appropriate supervision while maintaining radiation safety and patient-safety standards. Maintain procedural supplies, accurate documentation using Meditech, and participate in required weeknight, weekend, and holiday call coverage. Requirements Minimum 2 Years of Interventional Radiology Technologist Experience Required. Current ARRT Radiography R.T.(R) Certification Required. Current ARRT VI, CV, or CI Certification Required. Neuro Interventional Radiology Experience and GI Embolization Experience Required.BLS/BCLS
Certification Required Within 30 Days of Hire; Must Be Available for Stroke Call, Weeknight, Weekend, and Holiday Coverage. The Interventional Radiology Technologist will provide skilled technical support for complex image-guided and neurovascular procedures while maintaining high standards of patient and radiation safety.Benefits
