Job Description

Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. The CT Technologist works under the supervision of Director, Radiology Manager, Associate Director, Lead Technologist and physicians in Radiology. The CT Technologists perform scans using computed tomography to create a cross section of patient's internal organs for medical analysis. They also prepare and administer contrast agents to obtain some images. CT Technologists may work in various clinical environments, such as the hospital or diagnostic imaging centers. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. > Additional Information

• Inputting data, calibrating equipment, answering telephone, speaking clearly, manipulating small items, fine motor skills, knowledge of body mechanics and CPR.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Interpersonal Skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact with patients, staff, visitors, physicians, etc.
