Job Description
Job Summary The Mammography Technologist I is responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammography procedures to assist in the detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to patient-centered care. The Mammography Technologist I works collaboratively with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate imaging and patient comfort while maintaining compliance with state, federal, and regulatory standards, including FDA/MQSA and ACR requirements. Essential Functions Performs mammography imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality screening and diagnostic images through proper positioning, technique, and compression. Adheres to safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and infection control guidelines to ensure patient and staff safety.
