Role Summary:

Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Ensures optimal imaging results through proper technique and positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Develops and implements appropriate procedures and treatment plans according to hospital protocols. Completes accurate documentation to adhere to policies. Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a safe, clean condition. Participates in performance improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care. Achieves assigned goals and ensures procedures are performed effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area, meeting MRI competencies. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R); MRI registry preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Basic computer skills and appropriate licensure, including state licensing if applicable. New graduates must obtain registry within 60 days of hire.
