Job Description OrthoXpress Bone and Joint is looking for a X-ray Technician to join our team located in Tupelo, MS. We are a growing medical practice with a focus on patient care and are looking for a high energy individual to fill this position. Clinic Hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with one hour lunch break and Friday 8:30am to 12:00 pm. As the X-ray Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic x-ray examinations on patients. You will also be responsible for assisting with other patient care procedures. You will be expected to perform all duties of an X-ray technician in a safe manner and maintain an organized work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of diagnostic x-ray examinations on patients. Perform patient care procedures, including pre-operative, post-operative, and routine physical exams. Prepare patients for exam by administering topical medications or providing instructions on how to do so if applicable. Obtain information from patient charts regarding patient medical history, current diseases, past injuries, etc. Prepare patients for radiographic and clinical procedures.

Experience:

Experience in an outpatient clinic setting is preferred but not required.
