1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with ARRT (M) and (R) certification and at least 1 year of specialty experience for an outpatient hospital-based setting. Details Outpatient mammography setting Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday Cerner charting system experience preferred No floating required unless otherwise agreed upon during interview or offer Requirements ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certification required BLS certification required Minimum of 1 year experience in mammography specialty Proficiency in 3-D and digital mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms Experience with fine needle aspiration preferred Experience with needle localizations and stereotactic biopsy preferred Familiarity with Hologic 3D equipment preferred Knowledge of digital quality assurance procedures and radiation safety References required for consideration MT RT license required prior to starting, if applicable Additional Information Perform diagnostic and screening mammography procedures including 3-D and digital imaging Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility, and local candidates will not be accepted Former permanent employees must have a 2-year break in service before returning Background check history with license hits reviewed on a case-by-case basis
